We’re delighted to announce that the organisers of the Sustainable Foods World Congress, Frontier Events Ltd, has completed its B Corp Certification!
We join a growing group of positive impact companies that are pursuing purpose as well as profit. We have been certified by B Lab, the not-for-profit behind the B Corp movement, having met rigorous social and environmental standards. This reinforces our commitment for the Sustainable Foods World Congress to become a platform to accelerate real and meaningful change within global F&D towards more sustainable, circular and resilient food systems.
The B Corp certification addresses the entirety of a business’s operations, looking at many impact pillars including Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers. In order to achieve certification, we underwent a rigorous review of the impact of our event’s operations on our workers, customers, communities and environment – meeting a minimum score across the assessment. We also made a legal commitment by changing our corporate governance structure to be accountable to all stakeholders.
