We are proud to be B-Corp Certified!

“Receiving B Corp certification is a fantastic milestone for the Sustainable Foods World Congress, signalling our continued drive to develop a world class event that provides positive impact for people and planet. Using the SDGs as our benchmark, our aim is to develop the leading international food summit to support companies and governments to develop and deploy global sustainable food systems.

To be able to meet the rigorous standards set by the B Corp model shows that we are developing the Sustainable Foods World Congress on exactly the right path towards this objective and is an accreditation we are extremely proud to celebrate.”

We’re delighted to announce that the organisers of the Sustainable Foods World Congress, Frontier Events Ltd, has completed its B Corp Certification!

We join a growing group of positive impact companies that are pursuing purpose as well as profit. We have been certified by B Lab, the not-for-profit behind the B Corp movement, having met rigorous social and environmental standards. This reinforces our commitment for the Sustainable Foods World Congress to become a platform to accelerate real and meaningful change within global F&D towards more sustainable, circular and resilient food systems.

The B Corp certification addresses the entirety of a business’s operations, looking at many impact pillars including Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers. In order to achieve certification, we underwent a rigorous review of the impact of our event’s operations on our workers, customers, communities and environment – meeting a minimum score across the assessment. We also made a legal commitment by changing our corporate governance structure to be accountable to all stakeholders.
