Nicola Somenzi is the Head of Responsible Sourcing at the Ferrero Group, where over the past years he has led the creation of the department with a clear focus to continue to “embed sustainability into the heart of the business”. After getting a Bachelor's degree at the University of Parma and becoming a researcher at Bocconi, Nicola worked for the Boston Consulting Group for over ten years, living in Hong Kong, Istanbul, Dubai and Milan. He joined Ferrero in 2017 where he initially helped to set-up the Risk Management team and later designed the new hazelnut industrial footprint. Nicola is also a board member of the World Cocoa Alliance.
