Tavish Scott

Tavish Scott is chief executive of Salmon Scotland, which is the voice of Scottish farmed salmon, the UK’s biggest food export, representing companies in Scotland, across the UK and internationally. Mr Scott was previously head of external affairs for Scottish Rugby (2019-20) and Member of the Scottish Parliament for Shetland (1999-2019). He served as a Scottish government minister with various portfolios, held several Scottish parliamentary positions and is a former leader of the Scottish Liberal Democrats. Mr Scott is non-executive director of People for Places Scotland, a social-housing investment charity, and a visiting professor for the Aberdeen Business School at Robert Gordon University.
