Thomas Truttmann
Thomas Truttmann is CEO of Max Felchlin AG, a century-old Swiss premium chocolate and couverture manufacturer, where he serves as only the fourth CEO in the company's storied history. Under his leadership, Felchlin is undergoing a transformation toward long-term, purpose-driven growth, a journey highlighted by the company winning the prestigious Swiss Ethics Award in 2025, an honor awarded to only one Swiss company every other year.
A systemic leadership expert, Thomas holds an MBA from the University of Fribourg and completed further studies at Thunderbird University (Phoenix, Arizona) and Kellogg University (Evanston, Illinois). He previously steered Compass Group Switzerland through the COVID-19 crisis and held senior marketing roles at McDonald's and The Coca-Cola Company. He combines deep expertise in sustainable sourcing, quality assurance, and supply-chain management with a strategic, systems-thinking approach to business. Beyond his executive role, he serves on the boards of SV Group and Chocosuisse, and is an advisory board member of the ZHAW Institute of Food and Beverage Innovation (ILGI). He remains a sought-after voice on building resilient, values-based food businesses for the future.
