In 1984 farmers son Ieuan Edwards decided to leave the family farm to become a butcher. He served an apprenticeship in the beautiful market town of Llanrwst, before opening his butchers shop in Conwy.

Over the last 37 years, our shop has won numerous awards, including “Britain’s Best Butcher” and “Best Butchers Shop in Wales”.

In 2014 we decided to share our award-winning products and expertise further afield. We first started selling through ASDA and the other major retailers soon followed. To meet the growing demand we expanded into a production facility beneath Conwy mountain.

Fast forward to today and we’re proud to say Edwards is a firm family favourite on tables throughout Wales and beyond

Our products have won numerous awards, including Great Taste Awards, a Good Housekeeping prize and many more.
