Clever sustainable box that allows fresh food to be delivered globally
Cold chain intelligence company Etheclo has come up with a smart box that enables businesses to ship or deliver healthy food and medication globally.
The reusable, recyclable, isothermal box is for deliveries of temperature sensitive goods including cold, frozen, and even hot.
Their boxes can also be equipped with sensors that communicate with Etheclomonitor, a cloud platform that allows businesses to monitor their goods by PC, tablet, or smartphone from any place in the world.
Etheclo boxes equipped with sensors are used by multiple retailers and merchants for the home delivery of their groceries but are also used at pickup points and in parcel lockers.
The box sensors can also be used independently in fridges, freezers or greenhouses to monitor temperature, humidity and light conditions of vegetables.
The boxes are also used by a major distributor of pharmaceutical products in Belgium, because of the flexibility and reliability of the boxes, which can be used in electric vehicles like cargo bikes or vans.
