Stem & Glory
Hungry for Sustainability?
Stem & Glory is a plant-based restaurant in Cambridge and London aiming to disrupt the casual dining scene. This outspoken champion is committed to being a carbon-negative restaurant by 2022. Their restaurants are powered by 100% renewable energy and all their kitchens are 100% gas-free.
Sustainability is high on the agenda, from the providence of their produce to their up-cycled furniture. This incredible company participates in several reusable cup and lunch box schemes, uses furniture and products made from repurposed consumer waste, makes use of locally grown produce, and works with suppliers who are aiming to eradicate single-use packaging across the board.
Stem & Glory has won multiple awards, including ‘Best Newcomer’ in the Cambridge Food and Drink awards in 2017, to ‘Best Vegan Restaurant in London’ shortly after opening the London flagship. Stem & Glory pitched Dragon’s Den style at the Global Restaurant Investment Forum in Feb 2020 and won ‘Most Investable Concept’. More recently Stem & Glory won ‘Best Enterprising Business’ at the National SME Awards in Dec 2021.
With the long-term goal of completely decarbonising eating out, so customers can be sure their dining choices are sustainable, and urging restaurants around the world to join them on this sustainable journey – we hope Stem & Glory will on the menu for many more years to come.
